OVERVIEW

In this exciting first of four phases, the Pre-Design Phase, this is where we get to know you, your land, your values, your vision, your dream, your intentions, your needs, your wants, your interests, your non-negotiables , your passions, your purpose and your budget.

PURPOSE

THE PROCESS

In this Phase you fill out your project questionnaire and you may be asked to complete some ‘homework’ assignments to better inform the design process and truly make your space uniquely yours.   

Official documents that provide crucial information about your site and zoning will also be gathered. This usually entails a survey of the land to determine the property line locations and/or measurements of any existing structures. Some background research will be conducted to better understand how the site relates to the surrounding area, climate, people, and the regulations that affect the project.

This information is brought together with your personal desires, answers to the questionnaire and then a Program and Project Brief and a Vision Board is produced.

Program and Project Brief, Vision Board, Zoning Summary, Existing Condition Documentation.
